The MWCD Internship Programme offers a 2-month opportunity with the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India. Interns gain practical exposure to government policies, schemes and programmes related to women and children and may work on research, pilot projects, micro-studies, policy papers and other ministry-related assignments.
Selected interns receive a ₹20,000 monthly stipend, along with shared hostel accommodation in New Delhi during the internship. The programme also provides opportunities to interact with government officials and stakeholders, and successful interns receive an internship certificate upon completion.
Apply online through the MWCD Internship Programme portal. Applications are generally accepted two months before the internship batch, from the 1st to 10th of the relevant month.
Example:
May–June batch: Apply 1–10 March
August–September batch: Apply 1–10 June
November–December batch: Apply 1–10 September
February–March batch: Apply 1–10 December
