National Renewable Energy Internship Programme (NREIP)

The National Renewable Energy Internship (NREI) Scheme by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) offers UG, PG, and research students practical exposure to renewable energy policies, projects, and government functioning. Eligible candidates with minimum 60% marks can apply. Physical interns receive a stipend of ₹15,000 per month, while virtual interns are not paid. Applications are invited twice a year (preferably January and July), and candidates should apply at least 1 month before their intended joining date (not more than 3 months in advance).
